  Congrats on this film for being my first review purely for how much rage it inspires in me. This is just two hours of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp sucking themselves off. Burton is obsessed with trying to recreate the whimsy of his earlier films but this whole thing feels artificial and airy and freaky.   I literally dont remember the last time i was so captivated by a film LOL the atmosphere in this movie is insane. i literally felt the world disappear and it felt like i was in this base with these guys. the way they play with paranoia and you never know who to trust, trapping you inside the protagonist's head, it insane and so well done. it toes the line of interpretation so so well. cant wait to rewatch it and pick up on all the stuff i definitely missed this first time.
