i can’t believe i’ve only just watched this! as someone with an interest in queer and drag culture it felt so interesting learning about where so many of the modern drag race references came from.
octavia saint laurent is so gorgeous! it’s so poetic yet sad seeing the clips of venus xravaganza on the bridge next to the boombox at the end as we learn of her passing. she has been immortalised by this piece of media and that’s beautiful.
