  It was a fun sci-fi horror, but everything it has to say about AI vs humans (and who the real monsters are) is just regurgitated from other media. Nothing new, doesn't reinvent the wheel in any way but a fun forgettable time. Maybe I would have been more invested if the full trailer hadn't ruined the twist for me.

  Truly creepy and the psychological stuff always messes with me more than gore ever could. That said, this is definitely a horror movie and there is a LOT of body horror and truly nasty gore. Considering what the whole premise is though, unsurprising that it's a bloody movie. Naomi Scott gave an insane performance and I definitely will be watching whatever she's in next. Highly recommend it if you want some nightmare fuel.

  I first saw this movie as a TV rerun, but I was about 10 years old. And I fell in love, even though it is objectively a very dumb and ridiculous movie. But it's got vampires, romance and comedy - plus Adam Ant is really charming so of course 10 year old me fell in love. My nostalgia is strong with this one! 🧛‍♂️🦇
