A Quiet Place 2018
I normally don’t like horror movies, but I really enjoyed A Quiet Place. Millicent Simmonds is deaf so I think her casting in this movie was meaningful and she did a fantastic job. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt also had great performances despite rarely speaking throughout the film. The plot never felt slow and was always engaging. I feel like many films in the horror genre are made only to scare people. A Quiet Place does this, but also has a plot that evokes many emotions.
