All Quiet on the Western Front 2022
I read this book and it’s one of my favorite books. I didn’t see the first film of it. I know there’s a 1950s or 60s version but this film is just so beautiful and it’s just so perfect with the book. (I think it is) and what these people had to endure it’s just so crazy and mind-boggling to me and I just love the cinematography of it and it makes you feel like you’re immersed in that time period and the fighting going on. All in German and so very beautiful in its own eerie and disheartening way.
