10/10 score and beautifully shot. A little self indulgent toward the end but humility never won an Oscar. If you have the time - and I did because I was avoiding Trump’s inauguration - its worth it.
Watched it my first week in New York and did I pretend I was Adrien Brody as I walked home and passed the Statue of Liberty? Yes. Did I find myself wondering if Joe Alwyn gained weight during his breakup from Taylor Swift? Also yes. Do I now understand the brutalist beauty of Georgetown’s Lauinger library? No.
FINALLY saw it and did not disappoint. Crammed in the Angelika theater, the popcorn was popping and the tears were certainly flowing.

I guess life is a tragedy to those who feel and a comedy to those who think after all. Proud of my friend Annie Kane who works every day to remember these stories.
