so glad we are bringing back the art of the four hour movie
lots of nuanced takes to be made re: this movie’s stance on zionism but imo this story does a fantastic job of showing how america’s rejection of the jewish diaspora gave fuel to the zionist movement and the establishment of the state of israel, and i LOVED the “are we any less jewish because we live here?” line
