Anora rules. I have a LOT of thoughts about the ending
In the last 2 days I’ve coincidentally watched 2 movies about women from Brighton Beach and they were both really good
Every single second of this movie was devastatingly painful but the actual saddest part for me was watching Ada and Rae’s mournful hug on the hospital bench, coming to terms with the irreversible damage they did to Sara. Her plotline is just so brutal but so intelligently captured. This was just harrowing from start to finish. I’m never watching this again
Side note, I watched this on Pluto TV for free with commercials which is NOT an optimal viewing experience. Why was I getting GLP-1 ads in the middle of this
I already knew I loved The Big Lebowski but now I can confirm as a non-movie nerd that the Coen brothers are goated!!
