maybe it was the fear of evacuation or my poopy attitude going into it but I don’t think this movie was for me! I’m not a huge fan of turning animated films into live-action cash grabs. The voice acting also didn’t feel right to me, there was a dissonance between the overall look of the characters and the performances that came out of them. I’m sure families enjoyed it but maybe I wasn’t in the right mood 🦁

Enjoyed this one more than the first. bigger budget ladies!! The acting was of a higher quality and definitely more jump scares and gore compared to the first one. I had more fun watching this one but I could’ve done without the “it was all a dream!!” trope. also shoutout to our friends at Squirt and Voss 🤗
