Disappointed. The story goes nowhere, love the Nausicaa inspo but the promises are not held. The characters painfully stay the same from start to finish. And a bit of sex never hurt anyone! Why only showing this? After all of THIS ? A french director would have made it with no shame, gay sex threesome etc... Even my asexual friend was disappointed, is the director a coward? Big meh.

Hayao Miyazaki and the Heron 2024
This documentary is so badly edited. Why put blank shots atfter every single cut? It doesn't make it less slow, instead I feel like I'm becoming epileptic. Same with the archive shorts popping in and out when someone is being interviewed, just because there is a ghibli music in the background it does not become more digestible. I'm so intrigued by the choices of shots they kept for the documentary too, why put miyazaki turning off his alarm 4 times…
