  I always enjoy a big budget CGI disaster movie. As expected, the script was corny, concepts were nonsensical or spoon fed to the audience, and there was a forced romantic storyline. Jolly good fun.

  Maybe I was in a bad mood but I found this to be very dumb and boring. The script wasn’t bad and had some great quips but every delivery of a funny line fell flat, and not even in a charming way. This movie felt like an awkward big budget student film. It was original and I appreciate that it’s out there, but it gets below 3 stars bc it made me bored and cranky on my Friday night.
