  life always gives the worst battles to those who technically don't need them.
  life's about all the good and the bad stuff, and how you can go through hardships without losing yourself in the process.
  in his position, i'd also be mad but you can understand her posture, being forgotten one of my main fears.
  i didn't cry, but it did leave me feeling weak. it made me realise i'm not doing enough to cherish this moment instead of just letting the days go by.

  As a queer person, I enjoyed so so so much this movie. The characters' stereotypes, how the conversion camp works, and the relationships that grow among them feel representative yet funny and relatable for me. It really shows how crazy the idea of conversion therapy is and how it doesn't really work, because one should always be oneself in the end. Although I loved the protagonist' ending (thank god she saved her!!!), I felt conflicted with what the graduates are going to do after this :(

  i really really liked this movie!
  i just love stories that are rooted on relationships, whether they are friendly ones or family based. this one seems based on nolan's own experience so it feels even more special. he captured that long-lasting love between parents and kids as something that exists despite everything, somewhat similar to how time passes. it's not always perfect nor pleasant, rather bittersweet at times, it just flows.
