The Insider 1999
1. This is a long, but pretty darn exciting movie. Wait, do I like Michael Mann?
2. Russell Crowe is Dr. Jeff Wigand, as far as I know. Compelling.

The Sleepy Time Gal 2001
I’m trying to watch 4-5 movies that are leaving The Criterion Channel at the end of the month—“28 days hath February.” By some mystery of the Rokuian forces, Three Wise Girls, the first in the queue wouldn’t play.
With little time to waste, I moved on to The Sleepy Time Gal. I’d never heard of it, but it was on My List because it stars another of my birthday twins, Jacqueline Bisset. 🎂
Bisset was radiant and annoying and wise and thoughtless and…
