An intriguing film absolutely not for the faint hearted. The convincing performances and the applaudable Wes Anderson-esque cinematography style makes you wonder if the 1.42 hrs of watch time is worth killing your appetite for the next few days.
Delicious, in many ways is a highly mellowed down version of Dahmer told in a visually engaging and poetic manner. Personally, having watched Dahmer (and regretting it), this one didn’t make me regret it as the film keeps you hooked, however the plot twist doesn’t leave you satisfied.
Thankfully, I watched it after having dinner.
You better be fresh when you’re watching this. No phones, door bells, children, pets or anything that could distract you. One glance away from the screen and you’d feel confused upon returning.
An unusual plot with lot of twists put together with a unique visual treatment and spectacular editing that keeps you hooked.
I can’t believe this is Greg Jardin’s first feature. Eagerly awaiting his next!
The thing about film making I love so much is that some well crafted films make you feel something strong, they move you! I might disappoint the connoisseurs of art when I say this, but at it's heart, a great film is all about a well told story that keeps you hooked till the end.
