  As soon as the film started, I began to openly and unabashedly cry tears of immense joy and pride.

  Not a fan.

  I was super lukewarm on the script when I read an early draft back in 2018. I remember asking my brother why he doesn't just make this other incredible idea he's had for so long that i can't even talk about but aghghghhg its so fucking  good (because Searching hadn't come out and he was still unproven / unknown as a writer-director), and then telling him that Run would only succeed on the strength of his execution…
