One star for the cinematic quality for the time. Half a star for the music. -3.5 for literally everything else. 4 hours of an immature girl not taking a hint via a PSA for safe horse riding. Not a single likable character. The plot changes each hour. Is it about the Civil War? Is it a love triangle (octagon)? Is it about the dangers of riding horses? I don’t know.

St. Elmo's Fire 1985
The plot follows no sort of story structure. But the characters are very interesting (and hot!) and the soundtrack is 🤌. I have VERY strong opinions about this movie. It’s not objectively good but I LOVE it.
ALSO! There are no movies about young adulthood/post-college life. There are tons about high school and even college, but hardly any post-college and this movies tackles that time of life SO WELL.Translated from by -
