  My favorite part of this is how she says she wanted to be a supporting part of something — and in every scene where she’s playing with David, she’s playing accompaniment to his solo.

  Objectively, I greatly enjoyed this because I’m a classically trained bassist. If you’re not already somewhat familiar with classical music, I can see how this would be much less engaging.
