Toy Story 1995
i cannot believe this was made in 1990. so ahead of its time and a lil gay(compliment). the score? the humour? the characters? its just all so iconic i cant even be nonchalant and keep this to a one sentence review. not a fan of mr potato head and the kids look horrifying in this but oh well. everything else is great. the dark themes of sid’s toys is so fresh and super chilling when i was a kid. forever my childhood AND adulthood movie

the camerawork was kind of… very bad and confusing. idk if thats just because it’s the slightly old hong-kong style or something so i give it a pass.
that said i LOVE RACING CARS. extremely enjoyable to watch as a racing fan. and i WILL eat up movies about nonchalant geniuses who also happen to deliver tofu.
romantic subplot was bad i mean what even was the ending supposed to be. and why did she actually sexualise the scars that he got from being abused by his dad😭 that was terrible.
anyways its not great filmmaking wise but i enjoyed it : )
