Bong Jon Ho should I be surprised? A masterpiece of a film that had my attention from the beginning to the AMAZING final shot/ending that he chose. Not to mention all the drop kicks?? That was crazy, but it made sense in the grand scheme of things.

this was someone’s DEBUT FEATURE MOVIE? Wow I’m so glad i finally got around to watching this. From the on screen relationship to the soundtrack to the cinematography - it all blends so well to deliver a heartbreaking film that’ll keep you thinking for days.
Callum’s story of his eleventh birthday will stick with me, and the final shot is so perfect. Highly recommend, just grab a few (or a lot) of tissues.
sneaky good movie with a dystopian theme. Is it just a 2hr long black mirror episode? Maybe, but it’s a good one that’s really well done visually.
something’s at the end get a little off the tracks, but enjoyed the performances all around. (sadly) assume it won’t pick up popularity until its streaming somewhere

i can usually get behind a campy horror comedy but didn’t love this one a ton. Had a few funny moments (shoutout Brian Cox) but also some really bad moments
might have been 2.5 stars if they did passport photos
