Single setting films are probably one of the harder things to accomplish and do it well. Much like David Fincher's "Panic Room", this film has a decent premise, but heavily fizzles in the middle chunk of the movie.
Qualley and Abbott are fun to watch, they did the best they could, but the writing fell behind. The lack of commitment to really lean into the surrealism of the plot left a lot to be desired.
