Tyler Perry's Duplicity 2025
I could talk about the god-awful screenplay, the god-awful ensemble, or the god-awful utilization of a real life race/political issue with police brutality, but instead, I’ll choose to commend the sheer force that is Kat Graham. She’s the only redeemable quality about this film.. She’s heartbreaking, fearless, and just a powerful stamp on the entire movie. Such a shame that she hasn’t gotten the opportunity to work with more profile directors, or co-star with more equivalent actors. With a well crafted screenplay, I’m sure she’ll deliver a transcendent performance one day. Until then, let’s wait for the Michael Jackson biopic :)
