  Robert Pattinson has now solidified himself as one of the most talented working actors in Hollywood today. Memes are abundant right now showcasing Pattinson’s past roles. With every one, his characters have different accents. In, “Mickey 17” he plays a dual role. Closing your eyes, both Mickeys sound different. Opening them, Pattinson’s facial expressions and mannerisms separate the two. These performances were thought out and meticulously crafted.   Osgood Perkins’ film, “Longlegs” was propped up by some incredible marketing. The campaign did a fantastic job of hyping moviegoers up with mystery and intrigue. But unfortunately, my expectations weren’t fully met. They were inflated by the anticipation of seeing something wild that was never quite fulfilled. Fast forward to today with, “The Monkey”.   “Trap” continues M. Night Shyamalan’s eclectic filmography with an entry that is Hitchcockian in spirit. It’s a mixed bag that’s incredibly fun! You can choose to pick it apart since the suspension of disbelief is huge, but that is part of its charm. 
  A big round of applause for Shyamalan getting to continue to tell fun, original stories during a time in Hollywood where existing IP or sequels dominate the market. Will continue to support his films as they come…
