them ore i hear or see clips of his film i always notice the magic and color he has in his films, no matter how serious the subject can be at hand.
this is another unique movie that could be remembered as “2025”. 8 years from now we can be like “damn, that movie came out in 2025 of all years…how necessary for the time going forward”
the balanced of genres and satire without diving too far…
so much i really wanted out of this film…
i like a lot of things in theory about this, the execution was LACKLUSTER.
with the reshoots.. this movie feels like you’re trying to put something back together from memory, but ya memory is bad.
very disappointed, i was hoping this was something really.
i’ll be talking about this for the rest of the year :(
all ik is i had the craziest look on my face for 3 hours, both times i seen it i have gotten different things from it. technically and emotionally it’s probably top 3 for him.
I feel the human and the intensity of this film to be maxed out.
never got tired of it, was amazed by nolan and it gives me more reason to watch my favorite director. this was the best acted film of the year and one of the strongest cast i this year.

the introduction to a lot of these characters are insanely top tier with sharp in this one and also knuckles. They’re just very patient and getting big payoffs with introducing these characters organically.
i did NOT like the first 40 mins(outside of shadows scenes) but damn the last hour is peak man…
