  i could not tell you what this movie is about. 

  it isn’t about a mother and a son. it isn’t about a family, friendship, violence and love, violence in love, love in violence. it isn’t about the track list of an angsty teen, grief, or the continuous shifting aspect ratios. 
  rarely do i get that feeling of bliss, that feeling of submersive beauty when watching a film. an apostrophe in time, sunk into the tumults of a dyad living light…

  Doppleheimer, Cillian really does look like the Irish Oppenheimer. 
  Thrilling to say the least, and not in the aspects I expected it to. I mean I won’t sit here and pretend like I’m a well brought-up historian picky about its subjects, but I can see how in many ways this movie could’ve missed the mark, missed the point.
