definitely one of my favorite films by david lynch, it’s incredibly experimental and surrealist in nature (like most of his films) so no one is going to have the same interpretation. to me, eraserhead covers some major fears in anyone’s life; fear of being a terrible parent, fear of turning out like your parents or your in-laws, etc. henry spends a lot of time in his head which i can relate to
