The Zone of Interest 2023
To get this out of the way: this film has a fantastic set and sound. The pictures are aesthetic and beautiful yet simultaneously eerie and haunting. Also, a huge shout-out to the actors and actresses, who all have done a great job working on this movie.
However, - truth be told - I was a little disappointed by The Zone of Interest. While it certainly has an interesting premise, it fails to go beyond a superficial invocation of Arendt's banality…

My first Wenders film and it didn't disappoint
As expected: a movie in love with the mundane
What I didn't expect (but very appreciated): the movie ends very naturally. Instead of a cataclysmic event as the climax of the film, the "final boss" of the story is simply cumulative stress that builds up over the course of several days and is more or less emotionally resolved at the end.
