    There’s a simplicity in this movie’s presentation of its themes that is so endearing to me. Political idolatry, manipulative religion, and labor abuse are concepts that are featured heavily in this era of cinema’s “eat the rich” chapter, but writer/director and auteur Bong Jon Ho utilizes humor, a big budget (necessary? maybe not), and a career-best performance in Robert Pattinson to make them digestible in a much more entertaining and unique way.
