  Damn what a gut punch of a movie AND performance. This is a tough watch but worthwhile. This a portrait of what a traumatic upbringing can result in.

  My biggest takeaway from this is how easy it is for an obviously disturbed man to get a high powered rifle in America.

  The cinematography also looks beautiful. The ending did feel a tad abrupt which is why this is 4 not 5 stars.

  Locked 2025

  Locked elevates its campy premise by its 2 leads that give it their all. The car they use is cool and its societal commentary never gets too heavy handed. At 95 minutes it’s not asking too much. 

  This would be a good double feature with the Tom Hardy movie Locke.

  Oh Tyler Perry why do you make movies this way? I wanted to love this movie , I was primed and even ready to cry over this movie but damn does it feel like a lifetime original movie. 

  Kerry Washington is carrying this on her back but the dialogue they stuck her with is so corny at times. The production design is a little crunchy but I can overlook that. 

  This is an incredible and inspiring story but the movie just doesn’t fully come together to make it amazing.

  Opus 2025

  Opus just feels too similar to so many other movies recently. There are some good written lines and I liked a lot of the shots but the movie takes a little while to get going then just falls to pieces in the last 45 minutes.

  The acting is fine but I didn't find any of the characters to be relatable or likeable.
