Watched this for the first time in a long time.
I remembered this movie pretty fondly, but I don’t remember Joe.
Joe actually sucks lol. I think they want him to be likeable but… he really isn’t.

Much better than I had expected. Tennis is an extremely rich subject for a movie and this movie did the themes and spirit of tennis justice. The two male characters were fantastic counterparts to each other and their relationship was brutal and cold blooded. Competitive.

Awesome movie. From concept to execution it was properly heart-breaking and disturbing.
In your face and perhaps on the nose, but clear and fun breakdown of attachment to beauty both by the individual and the pressures that cause it.At times overly gruesome for my taste, but also hilariously so at the end. Left the movie with a psychotic grin, an unsettled gut and the words “what the fuck” on my mind.
