Poor Things 2023
Watching this on the plane had me lowering my brightness and avoiding eye contact with the man sitting in the seat behind me. HOWEVER. Honestly was such an interesting movie and questions what it means to be human. The innate contrasts between our nature and polite society. And our desire for individuality. Alludes to dualism and the separation between the soul, mind, and body. Also so funny. DEF WATCH

Started off so bad I had to pause the movie 7 minutes + take a 2 hour break to recover. When they started hating each other it got a bit better. The ending was mid but overall it was just a cheesy romcom and they’re hot so whatever
