A wacky satirical insight on just how far manifest destiny pretends to take us, and how we may lose our own humanity once it falls short. I would have also liked if it dipped a little into a ship of theseus territory a bit more but perhaps I’m being greedy. Robert Pattinson shows his duality spectacularly in juxtaposing personalities I feel would be the angel and devil on my shoulder. It feels like this could be a cousin of snow piercer with similar atmospheres and that classic bong joon ho feel.

the cinematography was absolutely insane, truly brought back the essence the alien franchise forgot it had. the deaths made me wince and shift in my seat in the best way possible, and the ending will haunt my nightmare vault for years. i hope the franchise keeps returning to its roots.

A very enjoyable movie I recommend going in blind to. A movie where you end up rooting for no body because everyone just ends up being a bad person, and also you will feel like you are on drugs watching this. The editing is its own entity. Very entertaining

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024
WOW this movie felt like a fever dream. At some points I felt overwhelmed from all the action but the screenplay was stunning and I couldn’t look away. The resolution was a little under whelming but given it’s a prequel and I know what’s to come, it doesn’t ruin the movie for me.
