  I think I’m not the target audience for this. There’s likely a lot of nuances I missed. I wanted to understand these women. I liked Anu but the film didn’t grab me.

  I really liked the latter two thirds of the film. I just wished I knew a little more about Ani. In Tangerine, I feel like I knew the two leads personally. Ani was fiery and was played with bags of charisma but I know next to nothing about her.

  This one is a grower. Not very plot heavy but the characters felt real. Especially the friendship between Sin-Dee and Alexandra. The last Donut Time scene is also brilliant.
