this movie is fun but also kinda frustrating?? like bridget is so relatable in the way she self-sabotages and overthinks everything, but sometimes i just wanna shake her and be like GIRL, PLS. she’s messy, insecure, and keeps falling for the wrong guy (we’ve all been there), but that’s also what makes her so lovable.
mark darcy tho??? he really said “i like you just as you are” and that’s it. that’s the review. cinema peaked in that moment.
overall, it’s a cute, feel-good romcom that perfectly captures the chaos of figuring yourself out. not perfect, but still iconic.

this movie is actual pain in visual form. the cinematography? breathtaking. the acting? unreal. the library scene?? life-changing. keira knightley and james mcavoy had no business having that much chemistry just for it all to go horribly wrong. and just when i thought i could breathe, the ending came in and absolutely wrecked me.
