  Where the hell do I begin?

  I could type a few paragraphs praising Kubrick for his stellar & almost unnerving direction or the absolutely gorgeous visuals that are made up of purely practical effects.   This is chaotic filmmaking at its finest… it’s the perfect blend of raw, grounded storytelling and incredibly stylistic directing. Dark and gruesome all around with slight splatters of beauty and humanity throughout. The pace is stupid good, there are so many moving pieces and plot threads this could’ve easily been a season of television yet it still feels so cohesive, so calculated, and all ties together wonderfully. Just wow.
