  Usually never go in blind for films but I watched this after coming out of a week long anxiety frenzy. So the performance by marianne jean-baptiste was so visceral I found it hard to stay in the cinema. Watching someone harden to the world like that out of fear and then break down and stay in a watery kind of anxious silence was so poignant. What a film, so much laughter and joy pinned by long stretches of silence. I miss my 
  mum <3
