Fried Green Tomatoes 1991
Just, wow. A friend told me it was a better version of Evening and they weren't wrong man. The storyline, the acting, were incredible. The mentions of racism and the Kuklux was something I didn't expect to be that severe here despite reading does the dog die website. But I think I love that it's also a better portrayal of queer love compared to Brokeback Mountain. They had pure lust in there aside from a possible, explorable connection.

THE ENDING SEQUENCE WAS TOO MUCH HUHU what do you mean they got free to love one another and escape the nagativity in their life after dying 😭 ishtoph itttt.
The portrayal of sexuality, relationships, actions and reactions was so raw and seen in three perspectives which makes it resonate with you. Heavy topics shown in a well-packaged, careful way huhu. I'm looking for my own copy of this.
