There just feels like there's something missing from this movie. Although this movie was set in the 80's, the overall plot of finding a stone that grants wishes and the whole monkey's paw scenario could have had this set anywhere. Speaking of which, in spite of the consequences, you could just...wish everything back to normal? The way this was written felt like a jumble mess with too many plot holes.
