Jude and Nicholas holding each other's gaze like a big homo stand-off in a very silly insurrection is exactly how I imagine it will all end.

Almost Famous for war photographers. Edit: After a couple days I think this film is incredibly messy in what it is trying to do and say, and plays out like a suspense thriller within a road-trip film. BUT, I also think it's full of interesting ideas about image-making and violence, and Kirsten Dunst is incredible in it, and I've enjoyed thinking and talking about it. I'm not sure it needed a stronger political or moral perspective; I don't think that was the point. But it's fair to say that this film adds nothing to current political discourse. Tldr: idk it's fun?
