Sensitive and complicated. I loved MTM in this, she perfectly captured the behavior of a mother who has cut off her emotions and bottle them up. She was the only person in the household who was resisting to healing because opening the wound to clean it would hurt. Calvin and Conrad sought help to grow and heal and become stronger people but she left herself behind in her refusal to try to do the same.
