Good lord. Fucking terrible

The long drawn out exposition was completely unnecessary and did absolutely nothing to expand on the plot. You could have easily cut 75% of this movie and delivered the same end result. I dont mind watching movies with build up, not everything needs to be fast paced. However, the entire movie was slow to the point where it was pointless. Given this is my first watch of this film, I had no idea this film had a deeper anti-cruelty message. This makes a bold critique of the meat industry, so for a vegetarian of the last 10-ish years, I should love this movie a lot more. And maybe I would have, if I hadn't seen the main message of this film executed in a much better way in the book "Tender is the Flesh" (Tender for short) by Bazterrica.
