Awesome origin story with the best superhero theme music of all time. Gal is the second most attractive person in the movie next to Chris Pine (or Ewen Bremner, I cant decide) and an exceptional casting choice. CGI / Cinematography makes this movie great. Does not feel like a true superhero movie which is a breath of fresh air given some movies being released right now.

Just disappointing, that is all. Nothing glaringly terrible, but also 0 scenes I cared to watch again. Could have been fun....I guess?

Mediocre story, mediocre story telling. Could have been a much more interesting dive into a religious cult, but instead dragged along a story that was rather cut and dry in the end. Someone at HBO watched Tiger King and tried to force a doc through hoping for the same following to show up.

Important movie in highlighting the need for a tank with legs to fight water based creatures & that bikini's are the key to scientific discovery.
