Very Joe Wright-coded. Reminded me of Anna Karenina (2012) and
Vanya (2025)! I adore the stage-play breaking the fourth wall setup. Much less impactful than other Anderson films but still such an alluring watch!

Never thought tennis would turn me on. This was shot so beautifully-- reminded me of The Social Network (2010) and Waves (2019). Held my breath the entire time. A truly refreshing film that successfully encapsulates the obsession into a digestible forte.
