Super crazy how this movie managed to be more confusing than the series finale yet also over-explained everything that was occurring. Why was a fourteen year old girl naked for the entire 90 minute duration of this film? Why did Misato turn into a paedophile? Why did they do Shinji so dirty?
2.5 stars for Asuka's rampage, "I'm so fucked up", and Unit 01 eating Shinji's dad.

there's something so fascinating about watching trans women discuss being mimicked, fetishized, idolised and essentially used by autogynephilic men who want to copy their gender identity/expression. imagine the horror of watching a man wearing a ridiculous outfit speak in a silly voice in a truly insulting imitation of your demographic - imagine, right? absolutely no self-awareness to be found in this short film. 1.5 stars for "you were right bitch", and courage.
