  If you're watching this expecting a serious film, obviously no.

  If you're watching it because you just want to sing your head off to a bunch of too-catchy-for-their-own-good songs, laugh your head off at some ridiculous moments and have a good time, enjoy. Best seen with a group of friends and a glass of wine.

  This is quite possibly my favourite Disney movie ever. This one and Mulan have long been jockeying for that position. It's also the first movie I ever saw in the cinema, on re-release.

  As a child, I liked this movie because I loved dogs. As a teenager, this was a fun nostalgic treat at Christmas. As an adult, I am surprised by just how dark this storyline was. Lady gets chased by a pack of dogs (implied to be because…

  Go ahead, laugh at me. I really like Frozen, and I am not five years old.

  The Day After Tomorrow 2004

  I mean, this film is not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination.

  That doesn't mean I don't like it.

  This may be because this film was one of the first "grown-up" (forgive my 12-year-old self her understanding of what grown-up meant) films I was allowed to watch. A little nostalgia from my part, some good special effects and a few engaging emotional moments was all it really took.
