  again with my friend (for their first time) who considers 2010 movies to be old movies. which i guess makes me fuckin old.

  something i can-rewatch often is the puppet show performance. i like a plot hole where the miserly exploitative Stromboli nonetheless crafts this profound work.

  The Time Machine 2002

  first watched in 2002 and loved it and again now because my friend read the book. shittier and the moral not too clear but i still love many images or instantiations of some concepts; i may steal one. the machine itself is cool, still a weird adventure, emotions well acted

  okay moral: you can fuck up but roll with it, can't in fact do the thing you'd often do with a time machine

  i was sold by a joke clipped that i cant repeat. it had a little more potential than it used and some slower scenes/pacing problems but quite good, cute, maintained my smile. quite high production in the throwback scenes/area.
