as a jew & lesbian who really cares about art this film means so much to me. marginalized people deserve to have their stories told. jews have always been messy and complicated and the idea of a monolithic community is never going to happen (no matter how much zionists want it to). art is always going to live on because people connect to it, not because it shows a particular community in the best light possible.
