having the most insane thot/thought daughter dilemma after watching this movie.
unbelievably sad i didn’t enjoy or connect w/this film in the way the majority of people seem to. there is so much about it that is undoubtedly fantastic, but certain scenes, jokes, and character choices threw me off in a way i cant ignore in favor of the parts i adored. went into the theater so excited to see anora and was rather disappointed that the film seemed far less interested in the character it was named after than i was</3 certainly deserves a rewatch sometime soon to reevaluate
