Despite the obvious low budget, Robyn's eye for filmmaking and unique voice shows through. It's so fresh to see an authentically queer British horror set in a small rural village instead of the London bar scene. We need more voices like this in the genre. The long shot of the protagonist walking through the fields and the shots inside the church capture and accentuate the atmosphere so well. Dope film. I am excited to see what Robyn makes next!

i think about this film all the time. especially in summer when i feel lonely. every Christmas, this would be our prized watch. and i would cry almost every time. it is one of the most underrated christmas films there is. thank god for free dvds in the newspaper.
