- Jackie Shroff's quite endearing take as Detective Javed Abbas was something quite surprising IMO. He was the beating heart of this movie & I longed for him to receive more screen time. Juhi Chawla also puts up a solid performance as Geeta. She's bubbly, endearing yet, when a new facet of her character is revealed, stalwart & her chemistry with SRK is truly unmatched as we have seen countless times over the years

- Star-studded cast and their performances were, mostly, rather good upon rewatch. Divya Bharti is the stand-out here and, if fate wasn't more cruel to her, she would be talked in the same regard as Sridevi.
