  X  had the power of thematically capturing so many thought provoking subjects through lots of poetic imagery and emotional tone, from character development to gore it was able to express the duality of dread and sex. The pacing and editing is brilliant as it is effective in alternating between terrifying and comical, along with visually demonstrating the juxtaposition of the themes of the movie. The suspense, grotesque erotica, religious subtext (purity vs. sin), the incredible lead in two mirrored yet polarizing roles, the satire, the references to other films (macguffin!!) This movie is next to perfect in this essay I will……………
